I give up

I think I've finally outgrown the sims, I love Warcraft so much and there just aren't enough hours in the day for both. I never bought Sims 3, I have had a very quick play on a friends pc but it doesn't look different enough for me and I don't think my laptop will be up to it anyway.

I've been playing World of Warcraft for nearly a year now so it's not a passing phase, so bye and happy simming to you all

got my first close up glimpse of sims 3 this week, now I want to buy it!!!

As an aside if anyone wants a free trial to WoW it's best to do it as a referral from an existing player - both sides get really good benefits. If you do want a WoW trial please comment on this blog, or email me and I will sort you out with one either from me or a friend in the USA.

Sims 3

The Sims 3 has been out just a few days and already a host of tools are emerging for custom content creation. Most of what I've seen out there requires some technical knowledge and for now there are no easy wizards (apart from the standard in game stuff).

It's actually made me consider buying it, and I wasn't going to bother but to be in right at the beginning would be quite exciting!! I also like the fact that making custom content will require some effort, it should keep the crap out!!

MTS2 has changed it's name to MTS to incorporate the new game and already has a couple of mods, some textures, made with Delphy's Pattern Packager. and a load of houses.

Well CS2S is not behaving as it should, several emails later and no news from Leo, I personally stopped playing Sims around Christmas time, I just don't have the time any more.  My hubby is ill and I have much more important things to do!!! 

One thing I will share will you all is SIMS FASHION BARN!! get over there at once!  The lovely Deb has teamed up will Charmed Simmy aka Kollens and they are churning out Charmed content quicker than you can say Halliwell Manor!

There was a gas hob for the kitchen but turns out it's only for worktops, it floats over a table. Will try and see if we can do something about this.

Meshing...

I've decided to teach myself how to mesh, I spotted this free software in one of those money savings emails you can subscribe to and I've decided it's about time I learned. The software is called trueSpace (small t large S!) and it's free from http://www.caligari.com/ No idea if it's any good but there are lots of tutorials so I'm going to have a play.

I HATE SPORE!

Well actually I don't it's a really good game, what I hate is the fact that my laptop is the fastest machine with internet access in the house so it's been hijacked by both my son and husband to play Spore on so now I don't get a look in and my Sims are suffering.
